One of the leading flamenco and classical guitarist/composers of his generation, Adam del Monte has made it his life mission to fully express himself in these two genres, transcending labelling and convention. Always having incorporated a wide array of musical styles in his compositions, del Monte has embarked on a journey of creating a unique sound and language of flamenco that is both steeped in tradition and progressive in its openness to musical flavours from around the world.

Adam Del Monte is the leading flamenco and classical guitarist / composers of his generation. Adam is an Altamira artist and is currently on tour in Europe, Asia and Australia playing music from these two genres, transcending labeling and convention. Adam is playing a newly designed Altamira flamenco guitar during this concert series. Altamira Guitars will have a pop-up showroom during the weekend with all its instruments on show. Altamira will also be unveiling its new models in line with the artists on show.

The Performance Bar on Level 3 in the foyer of the Hanson Dyer Hall will be open 1 hour prior to the performance time and during intermission. A selection of beer, wine, sparkling, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks will be available for purchase.
