Concept Creep in Mental Health

Our concepts of mental disorder have expanded greatly in recent decades – a phenomenon sometimes referred to as 'concept creep'. What are the drivers of this growth in concepts and what are its implications, positive and negative?

Please join the current Mental Health PhD program co-directors Professor Nick Haslam, Professor Jane Pirkis, Professor Bernhard Baune, and former co-director Professor Malcolm Hopwood for a discussion of the implications of these important issues. All interested are welcome! As an audience member you will be encouraged to actively engage with the dialogue and share your point of view.
